Windsurfing

• Shallow Inlet offers several speed courses, and general windsurfing - the best wind direction is WSW-SW, but it works on just about any breeze (W-WNW is the least favourable)

• Waratah Bay offers a range of superb wavesailing spots - there are miles of beachbreaks, with no rocks or reefs anywhere- it works best on SE-S, and NW-NE breezes - favoured launch areas are opposite the Sandy Pt general store, Ned's lookout, or 1st carpark approaching Waratah Bay township

Surfing

• Waratah Bay also offers endless possibilities for surfing on beachbreaks

Wilson's Promontory

• Visit "The Prom" - one of the world's most beautiful National Parks

• Sandy Point has a general store - and a cafe offering WIFI internet access

• FIsh Creek has a pub, restaurants, cafes, and a bookstore run by windsurfers

• Foster is a larger town, with a pub, eateries, and shops
